Writing

What I see from inside the operation

Luxury hotels, fine dining and travel. I write about what I measured, not what I read — and every number carries its source, including when the number is against me.

Scale is not citation

The largest hotel group in the world appears in 10% of AI answers; the fourth largest by rooms appears in 1.4% — and is cited more often per property. What 515 four- and five-star hotels in Germany, Austria and Switzerland reveal, why it is a legibility problem rather than a quality one, and how to test your own case in a week.

The editorial line

Three subjects, one criterion.

Hotels — feasibility, pre-opening, brands and what a project's numbers actually say. Gastronomy — concept, cost, menu engineering and the difference between a hotel restaurant and a restaurant that happens to sit inside a hotel. Luxury travel — what has changed in the guest, and what has not.

The criterion: I only write what I have operated or measured. When a number belongs to a third party, the source sits on the same page. When it is an assumption, I say so. It is the same discipline I apply to a feasibility opinion.
